Product Overview
The Oxford Advance is portable patient handling equipment designed for full-body transfers where space, storage and transportability are important. Its 155 kg safe working load and broad lifting range support chair-to-chair, bed-to-chair, floor-to-chair and chair-to-bath transfers in private homes, rehabilitation settings and aged care homes.
The tool-free folding frame forms a stable, self-supporting shape for storage and can fit into many vehicle boots for transport between locations. Swan-neck legs help the hoist move closer to wide chairs, wheelchairs and commodes, while the manual leg-opening mechanism and ergonomic push handle support controlled positioning around furniture.
An onboard Smartâ„¢ Monitor records lift activity, overloads and service intervals to assist with maintenance planning and equipment safety. The Oxford Advance can also accept an optional four-point positioning cradle for broader sling compatibility, although fitting this accessory removes the folding function. These features make it versatile patient transfer equipment for care teams seeking compact safe patient handling equipment.
