Product Overview
The Ansa Knob Kit provides the attachment hardware required to connect leg straps when they are custom fitted to an Allegro standing sling. Installed on the upper clevis of the lifting actuator, the kit extends the versatility of the Allegro Salsa standing transfer hoist and can be retrofitted to a compatible existing unit.
By supporting the use of additional leg straps, the kit allows the Salsa to assist with selected non-standing transfers when clinically appropriate. It may benefit people who have adequate sitting balance but limited or fluctuating weight-bearing ability, including those whose transfer capacity can change over short periods.
The Knob Kit is designed specifically for the Allegro Salsa and must be used with an appropriately modified sling following assessment by a qualified clinician or trained equipment prescriber. Correct configuration can help adapt patient handling equipment to changing support needs while promoting controlled patient transfers in homes, hospitals, rehabilitation services and aged care homes.
